Discover Folly Beach: Living, Working, and Playing on the Edge of America
Welcome to Folly Beach, known as the "Edge of America," where locals, tourists, and surfers find their slice of paradise just 11 miles from historic Charleston. Let’s explore what makes Folly Beach a unique and vibrant community.
Where Is Folly Beach?
Folly Beach is one of two barrier islands at the Charleston Harbor’s entrance, alongside Sullivan's Island to the north. With six miles of continuous coastline, it stretches from the Morris Island Lighthouse to Folly Beach County Park.

Our Special Connection to Folly Beach
In 2014, my wife and I tied the knot at a rental home on the island. It’s a place we hold dear, and we continue to love and cherish its charm.
